Yangsan-si Completes Government Budget Application for Agriculture, Forestry, and Livestock Sector... Total 14.8 Billion KRW Across 25 Fields
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Yangsan City, Gyeongnam announced on the 23rd that it has completed budget applications totaling 14.8 billion KRW for 25 projects under the 2022 Agriculture, Forestry, Livestock, and Food Business.
The Agriculture, Forestry, Livestock, and Food Business is a government-supported initiative aimed at promoting agricultural and rural development and increasing farm household income through rural structural improvement.
The city identified and applied for 25 projects, including the Smart Farm ICT Convergence Project for agricultural digitalization.
The budget by sector includes 3.2 billion KRW for 10 agricultural projects, 500 million KRW for 6 livestock projects, 2.4 billion KRW for 8 forestry projects, and 8.7 billion KRW for 1 agricultural infrastructure project.
Deliberation and resolution for each project were conducted in writing by the ‘Agriculture, Rural, and Food Industry Policy Deliberation Committee,’ composed of 29 experts from each field, including the Mayor of Yangsan.
