Seodaemun-gu Implements 2021 Comprehensive Plan to Improve Integrity...Disclosure of Corrupt Officials, Integrity Evaluation of Senior Officials, Roundtable Meetings Between Mayor and Staff...Visiting Integrity Consulting, Distribution of Integrity Leaflets, Integrity Broadcasts in Government Buildings
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seodaemun-gu (Mayor Moon Seok-jin) has established the '2021 Comprehensive Plan for Integrity Improvement' and will promote various policies that employees and residents can empathize with.
Fifteen detailed projects will be implemented according to the annual schedule in areas such as organizational culture, anti-corruption systems, budget execution, fairness of work instructions, and corruption perception.
Among these, 11 projects aimed at improving 'internal integrity' include producing employee integrity videos, an integrity relay challenge, roundtable meetings with employee representatives from each sector and the mayor, an integrity practice pledge meeting for executive employees, and producing and distributing integrity frames to new employees.
Additionally, online integrity education, an integrity Golden Bell quiz, activation of integrity bulletin boards, disclosure of corruption-related public official punishment status, monitoring of corporate card usage, and integrity evaluations for executive public officials will be conducted.
To enhance the 'external integrity' perceived by civil petitioners, four projects will be promoted: integrity broadcasts within the government building for proactive administration, integrity consulting visiting civil petition departments, sending integrity leaflets that declare the district's commitment to integrity and encourage public interest reporting, and integrity calls asking petitioners about public officials' misconduct and satisfaction.
