Samsung Begins Recruitment for New College Graduates in First Half of the Year... Application Deadline on 22nd
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Samsung has launched its open recruitment for new college graduate employees in the first half of 2021.
Samsung affiliates including Samsung Electronics, Samsung Display, Samsung SDI, Samsung Electro-Mechanics, and Samsung SDS posted job announcements on their recruitment websites on the 15th for the 2021 level 3 (college graduate) new employee recruitment. Applications will be accepted from this day until the 22nd, and the written test, the Job Aptitude Test (GSAT), will be conducted in April to May. Afterwards, interviews will be held in May to June, and the final successful candidates will be announced in July. The GSAT schedule will be announced later for applicants who pass the first round of job suitability evaluation.
Last year, due to the impact of COVID-19, Samsung conducted the GSAT online for the first time in history during the open recruitment. This year as well, all written tests for open recruitment will be held online. The exact scale of recruitment has not been disclosed, but it is known to be around several thousand, similar to previous years. While major conglomerates are shifting new employee recruitment to rolling recruitment, Samsung is the only company among the top four groups to conduct open recruitment.
