Jin Air "Enjoy Indian Curry In-Flight Meal at Home"
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Jin Air announced on the 11th that it will launch a new menu for its in-flight meal concept home meal replacement (HMR) ‘Jini Kitchen The Real.’
The new menu, Mumbai Curry, consists of Indian chicken curry and rice pudding. The concept is to enjoy a flight meal at home while traveling, focusing on maximizing the authentic local flavors while adapting them to suit Korean tastes.
It will be released as a frozen product with a longer shelf life than the existing refrigerated HMR. The price for a set of three Mumbai Curry packs is 28,800 KRW, and it is available for purchase at ‘Jini Store (jinistore.jinair.com).’
To celebrate the launch of the new menu, a quiz and tasting review event will be held until the 31st of this month. Participation is possible by leaving the quiz answer as a comment on the event page on the Jin Air website or by purchasing Mumbai Curry, writing a tasting review on SNS or a blog, and then posting the link as a comment. Among the participants, prizes will be awarded by lottery, including a Balmuda The Lantern (1 person), a book introducing Indian culture through curry (5 people), Jini Kitchen premium menu items (5 people), and a Stephan Curry T-shirt (1 person).
