Gwangju City Supports Online Export Marketing for Small and Medium Enterprises
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 11th that it is recruiting companies to participate in the ‘2021 Online Export Marketing Project’ in collaboration with the Korea International Trade Association Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Headquarters.
Online export marketing is a project that has been conducted since 2017 to enable small and medium-sized export companies to enter the global e-commerce market in response to the growth of the global internet trade market, emerging as an alternative for non-face-to-face marketing in the post-COVID-19 era.
The project plans to support about 20 companies that have their headquarters or factories registered in Gwangju and have export performance of less than 20 million dollars in the previous year.
Selected participating companies will receive various support necessary for online marketing, including ▲product registration and sales support on overseas direct sales shopping malls ▲promotion on major global e-marketplaces and online platforms ▲design and registration of promotional English product pages on websites ▲writing and posting selling offers tailored to each company’s product characteristics.
Companies that are luxury small giants, excellent job-creating companies, have high export readiness (certifications, patents, catalogs, participation in overseas exhibitions, etc.), or have high suitability for online marketing (considering export performance) will be given preference.
Companies wishing to participate can apply to the Korea International Trade Association Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Headquarters from the 15th to the 26th.
