[Weather] Fine Dust Across the Country... "Concentrations Expected to Be High"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] On Wednesday the 10th, the whole country will be mostly clear, but many places will experience 'bad' levels of fine dust concentration.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the lowest temperature on the morning of the 10th is expected to be between -4 and 5 degrees Celsius, and the highest temperature during the day will range from 9 to 19 degrees Celsius. The temperature difference between day and night will be around 15 degrees, so special attention should be paid to health management. The east coast will have clouds from dawn to morning, and Jeju Island will have occasional clouds in the afternoon. There will be rain in some parts of the east coast of Gyeongbuk in the morning.
Fine dust concentration is expected to be at 'bad' levels in the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungcheong region, Gwangju, and Jeonbuk. The National Institute of Environmental Research explained, "Due to stagnant air, fine dust generated domestically accumulates and combined with foreign fine dust, concentrations are expected to be high in most regions and the central inland area."
