World Kimchi Research Institute Selected as 'The Best Good Workplace'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangju Community Chest of Korea announced on the 8th that the World Kimchi Research Institute was selected as the ‘2021 The Best Good Workplace’ for its active participation in the culture of sharing.
At the plaque presentation ceremony held that day, Choi Hakjong, Acting Director of the World Kimchi Research Institute, along with all executives and employees, and Lee Seongdo, Secretary General of the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea, attended.
Since 2017, more than 50 executives and employees of the World Kimchi Research Institute have been regularly participating in monthly donations, steadily practicing sharing.

Meanwhile, the Good Workplace program is a sharing initiative where employees donate a certain amount from their monthly salary. Over 1,500 companies, institutions, and organizations nationwide participate. Among them, those with more than three years of participation, over 50% employee enrollment, and annual donations exceeding 10 million won are selected as ‘The Best Good Workplace.’
