Event to Celebrate International Women's Day and Support Flower Farmers Affected by COVID-19

To commemorate the 113th International Women's Day, KT planned the event to express respect and gratitude to its female employees while also supporting flower farmers who have been struggling due to the impact of COVID-19.
KT CEO Koo Hyun-mo and Labor Union Chairman Choi Jang-bok presented freesia flowers and cup fruits to female employees at the KT East building located in Gwanghwamun, Jongno-gu, Seoul. The event took place from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. on the 8th at all KT office buildings.

Choi Jang-bok, Chairman of the KT Labor Union, said, "This is the first meaningful day since the company's founding that labor and management celebrate International Women's Day together, and it is especially significant to be able to help flower farmers who are struggling due to COVID-19." He added, "KT labor and management will continue various activities to make KT a happy workplace for women."
