Yanolja Provides 10 Million KRW Worth of Free Stocks to All Employees... 'Royalty Program'
[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] Yanolja announced on the 8th that it will provide Yanolja shares worth 10 million KRW free of charge to all employees.
This stock grant is part of the 'Royalty Program.' The Royalty Program is a campaign that Yanolja has been running since last year to foster a sense of belonging among its members and share the company's vision by granting shares free of charge. It is provided separately from the existing compensation system such as annual salary and bonuses. Shares have been granted twice so far. The funds were secured by the free contribution of 600,000 company shares held by co-founders Sujin Lee, Yanolja CEO, and Sangkyu Lim, CEO of Yanolja C&D.
Shares will be granted free of charge not only to existing members but also to newly recruited talents. According to the company, the goal is to promote growth for both the company and individuals through cash compensation and free stock grants. Yanolja plans to continuously expand the Royalty Program through various evaluation rewards with the secured funds even after this grant.
