Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education to Hire Level 9 Technical Positions for Vocational High Schools
Recruitment of 22 Technical Positions for Graduates of Specialized High Schools and Meister High Schools
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education is recruiting level 9 technical civil servants for graduates of specialized high schools and Meister high schools.
On the 8th, the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education announced that it will recruit 22 level 9 technical positions, which is 2.4 times the number of recruits last year. The number of recruits by field is 20 for facility management, 1 for engineering, and 1 for facilities.
For the first time among metropolitan and provincial offices of education nationwide, high school graduates will be hired for facility management civil servant positions responsible for facility management tasks at schools.
As an education office responsible for vocational education and employment support at technical high schools, the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education is expanding recruitment to include the facility management series, which is the majority among technical civil servants, providing opportunities for public service appointments that utilize specialized skills.
Applicants must be graduates of specialized or Meister high schools located in Seoul who have received a recommendation from their school principal, or current students expected to graduate in February 2022. Graduates may apply only if they have not entered university or have dropped out of university.
Submission of principal recommendation documents is from April 12 to 16, and application submission is from April 19 to 23. The written exam is scheduled for June 5.
