Jinju City, Spring Cleanup from Dongbang Hotel to Jinyang Bridge along Namgang River

About 30 people, including Mayor Jo Gyu-il, public officials, and volunteer groups, voluntarily participated in the event, conducting a thorough inspection of river facilities along a 2 km stretch of the Namgang embankment from Dongbang Hotel to Jinyanggyo Bridge, and collected approximately 2 tons of various trash.
The city began inspecting riverside facilities from February during the thawing season to provide a pleasant and safe river environment as outdoor activities by citizens increased following the easing of social distancing measures for the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
