Geumcheon-gu Healthy Family and Multicultural Support Center Operates '2021 New Parent Education'... Four Sessions of Child Behavior Coaching Education from March 18 to 27 for 100 Families with Children Entering Elementary School in Geumcheon-gu in 2021
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yuseong Hoon) announced that the Geumcheon-gu Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Center will operate the first home-stay event for the new semester, "I Want to Start Anew."
"I Want to Start Anew" is an educational program for parents with children entering local elementary schools for the new semester.
The center will provide online parent education to 100 families with children entering local elementary schools from March 18 to 27.
The education program consists of two courses: "New Parent Classroom 1" and "New Parent Classroom 2."
"New Parent Classroom 1" is a child behavior coaching education held online (via ZOOM) over four sessions on Thursdays (6?7 PM) and Saturdays (1?2 PM) from March 18 to 27.
Each session can accommodate 25 participants, and parents can choose which sessions to attend among the four.
In "New Parent Classroom 2," videos will be provided to each family to share tips for healthy school life for children.
Only families who complete the parent education will receive a family play kit that parents and children can enjoy together.
Families wishing to participate can apply online on the Geumcheon-gu Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Center website from March 8 to 12. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for 100 families with children entering elementary school this year.
Applicants must later submit their child's school admission notice or a resident registration certificate or family relation certificate showing the child's birth year via a Google link.
