Final Interview in One Day... KakaoBank, Open Recruitment for Experienced Developers
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] KakaoBank announced on the 2nd that it will publicly recruit experienced developers starting from the 5th.
The recruitment positions cover a total of 10 fields, including Customer Platform Development, Service Server Development, Financial IT (Core Banking, Financial Information), and iOS Development, with a two-digit number of hires planned.
The application period is from March 5th to 14th. The hiring process involves a coding test for those who pass the document screening, followed by first and second interviews. Considering the recruitment of experienced developers, candidates who pass the first interview will have the second interview on the same day.
Detailed information such as qualifications and job descriptions for each field can be found on the KakaoBank Talent Acquisition website. The KakaoBank Talent Acquisition site provides various information for applicants, including interviews with last year’s new hires, KakaoBank’s working methods, and welfare benefits.
KakaoBank offers one month of paid leave and an additional 2 million KRW vacation allowance upon completing three years of service. It also operates a flexible work system called 'Work On,' allowing employees to freely adjust their working hours, and provides support for medical expenses and health checkups for employees and their families, among other systems to promote a balanced life for employees.
Since 2018, KakaoBank’s experienced developer recruitment has recorded high competition every year. Growth potential as a developer and a horizontal corporate culture were cited as attractive factors. A survey of last year’s developer recruitment interviewees showed that 'expectation for growth' had the highest response rate.
