Government to Support Employment Counseling for Art Enterprises
Online Culture and Arts Job Fair to Be Held Starting from the 8th
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Arts Management Support Center announced on the 1st that they will hold a cultural arts job fair online through YouTube, their website, and other platforms from the 8th to the 11th.
This event provides various information about arts companies and supports online job consultations. This year, fifty cultural arts companies will participate. The Arts Management Support Center will provide introductions and recruitment information about these companies on its official website. Two-way consultations via comments will also be supported.
On YouTube, a "Live Job Information" program will be operated. It is divided into seven sectors: public institutions, startups, performance venues, festival operations, musical and theater fields, exhibition planning, and basic/regional cultural foundations, to facilitate practical discussions about companies and employment. A "Field Expert Special Lecture" will also be held. Participants include Kim Sung-gyu, President of Sejong Center for the Performing Arts; Kim Ji-won, CEO of EMK International; and Son Yi-cheon, Chief Auctioneer at K Auction, who will share information about each job and the necessary skills. Practitioners will also appear in "Cultural Arts Job Stories from Seniors" to share vivid employment experiences and success stories.
