97 Vaccine Adverse Reactions... 112 Cases in Two Days All 'Mild'
[Asia Economy Reporter Baek Kyunghwan] On the 27th, the second day of COVID-19 vaccination, a total of 97 adverse reaction reports were received.
According to the Central Disease Control Headquarters (CDCH) on the 28th, 96 people reported adverse reactions after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine the previous day, and 1 person showed adverse reactions to the Pfizer vaccine. This is a significant increase compared to 15 people on the first day of vaccination, the 26th.
However, the types of adverse reactions were confirmed to be mild cases commonly seen after vaccination, such as headaches, fever, nausea, and vomiting. There were no cases of the most concerning reaction during vaccination, "anaphylaxis" (severe systemic allergic reaction).
