On March 2 at 11 a.m., Nojeongyeon announced on the 25th that it will hold a press conference at Busan City Hall Plaza to announce the 'Official Launch of the Roh Moo-hyun Spirit Succession Solidarity Yeongnam Headquarters.'
Prior to the official launch, the Yeongnam Headquarters of Nojeongyeon plans to recruit former Minister of Oceans and Fisheries Kim Young-choon as a standing advisor to actively expand its network.
Assemblyman Kim Du-kwan, who serves as the central standing advisor of Nojeongyeon, has decided to support Kim Young-choon, the Democratic Party preliminary candidate running in the April 7 Busan mayoral by-election, which is expected to cause a significant shift in the local political landscape.
The central headquarters of Nojeongyeon is composed of Standing Advisor Assemblyman Kim Du-kwan, Advisor Kim Tae-rang, former Secretary General of the National Assembly, Secretary General Song Jae-wook, Roh Moo-hyun Guardian and Gyeongnam representative, and Secretary Ha Kyung-seok, former national secretary general of No Sa-mo.
The soon-to-be launched Yeongnam Headquarters includes Standing Advisor Kim Young-choon, former Minister of Oceans and Fisheries; Co-representative Kim Jeong-gyu, Chairman of the Local Decentralization Forum; Advisors Ryu Jong-joo, former Chairman of Busanjin for the Uri Party, and Hong Young-myeong, former Director of Gimhae Tax Office; Preparatory Committee Chair Kim Hyung-gi, former Deputy Spokesperson of Roh Moo-hyun Central Election Committee; Secretary General Park Seung-jung, former Civil Affairs Office Director of Jung-Yeongdo District of the Democratic Party; and Women’s Committee Chair Kim Gyu-ri, former lecturer at Han Young University Global Convergence Education Institute.
At the press conference announcing the launch of the Nojeongyeon Yeongnam Headquarters, about 20 founding members will participate and read the declaration.
Through the declaration, they plan to pledge to inherit the Roh Moo-hyun spirit, ensure the success of the Moon Jae-in administration, recreate the government, and win the April 7 Busan mayoral by-election.
