Boryung Consumer Healthcare Launches Stomach Health Functional Food 'Wienforce'
Individual Recognized Ingredient 'Gamcho Extract' Certified by MFDS as Main Ingredient
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] Boryung Consumer Healthcare announced on the 25th that it will newly launch ‘Wienforce,’ a stomach health functional food under its health solution brand ‘BRing.’
BRing Wienforce is the first domestic liquid stomach health functional food containing licorice extract, an individual recognition ingredient certified by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, as the main ingredient, combined with four basic nutrients: vitamin B1, vitamin B6, niacin, and beta-carotene. It helps manage stomach health through anti-Helicobacter effects and stomach mucosa protection, as well as supports smooth metabolism and body balance management. In particular, the main ingredient licorice extract was confirmed to improve 10 indicators related to stomach health (NDI) in the ‘functional ingredient human application test for functional dyspepsia subjects.’
As a gel-type liquid formulation, it coats the stomach upon ingestion, allowing users to quickly feel the product’s effects. It uses secondary ingredients that help stomach comfort, such as probiotic-fermented soybean powder (Gastro-Ad), honeysuckle flower extract powder, yam powder, and cabbage powder. Additionally, it does not use synthetic flavorings, synthetic sweeteners, artificial colorants, or sugar, but instead uses natural ingredients such as domestically produced honey powder, agave syrup, and fructooligosaccharides, providing a naturally sweet taste.
