Over 20 New Vendors Joined and More Than 3,000 New Products Added, Greatly Expanding Choices
Showrooms with Expert Consultations (Bathroom, Door, Window, etc.) and Installation-Linked Services Enhance Satisfaction
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] KCC Glass (Chairman Jung Mong-ik) operates the interior specialty brand 'HomeCC' and has carried out a large-scale expansion and renewal of its Ulsan branch, transforming it into the largest interior and building materials specialty store in the Yeongnam region.
The expanded store area of HomeCC Ulsan branch is approximately 1,157㎡, bringing the total store area to 4,628㎡. Through the expansion and renewal, numerous new brands have entered, and a wide variety of interior materials and products have been newly stocked, greatly broadening customers' choices.
With over 20 new brands joining, more than 3,000 products matching the latest interior trends such as LED lighting, curtains, carpets, and mattresses have been added. Various types of bathroom showrooms have been set up, and the door corner now features popular lattice sliding doors and automatic sliding doors. The window showroom has also been transformed into a new space where customers can directly experience and receive detailed consultations on HomeCC windows, KCC Glass's flagship product.
The consultation corner and installation services have also been upgraded. Customers can comfortably consult on interior and material-related matters anytime with interior experts stationed in the store. Additionally, if customers purchase materials that are difficult to install themselves, they can receive linked services with various installation companies. Customers can experience spaces applied with interior goods and building materials firsthand and complete purchase, consultation, and installation all at once through 'one-stop shopping.'
To celebrate the expanded renewal opening, HomeCC Ulsan branch will hold various customer events until the 14th of next month. During the event period, the first 1,000 new members will receive gifts, and customers who purchase over 500,000 KRW will be given coffee gift certificates.
Tenant companies have also prepared diverse events. 'Chair Meister,' an office furniture company, offers up to 30% discounts to commemorate its new entry into HomeCC Ulsan branch, and 'Bosch,' a power tool company, is conducting various gift-giving events based on purchase amounts. Additionally, customers purchasing blinds, curtains, carpets, and LED lighting can receive up to 7% discounts or gifts depending on the purchase amount.
The news of the renewal opening of HomeCC Ulsan branch, the largest in the Yeongnam region, has attracted enthusiastic interest from customers. Since the renewal opening on the 14th, weekend visitors increased by about 44% compared to the previous week, and sales more than doubled. Especially with the completion of occupancy in Songjeong New Town recently, visits to HomeCC Ulsan branch have significantly increased. Due to the interior boom, visitors from nearby areas such as Gyeongju, Busan, Gimhae, and Yangsan have surged, maintaining double-digit sales growth annually since its opening in 2016.
A HomeCC representative said, "Due to the recent impact of COVID-19, the time spent at home has increased, leading to growing interest in interior design. In line with this trend, we will further strengthen our position as a key store where customers can experience and enjoy one-stop shopping by showcasing various products that match the latest trends and leveraging the advantages of large specialty stores like HomeCC Ulsan and Incheon branches."
