KCC Glass Launches Premium Flooring 'Sup Hyugaon'
Reproducing the Natural Texture of Marble, Stone, and Wood with Embossing and 3D Design
Received Top Ratings for Eco-Friendly HB Mark and Recommended by the Korea Atopy Association
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] KCC Glass (Chairman Jung Mong-ik), a leading comprehensive glass company in Korea and operator of the interior specialty brand HomeCC, has launched the premium flooring material "Sup Hyugaon," which faithfully reproduces the feel of natural materials such as marble, stone, and wood, offering a luxurious look along with excellent walking comfort and noise reduction effects.
Sup Hyugaon means "comfortable and warm flooring for our home," embodying the concept of healing flooring that helps provide a warm and relaxing rest.
Sup Hyugaon applies a synchronized embossing technique that exquisitely matches patterns and surface embossing, along with a three-dimensional 3D design, realistically reproducing the patterns and textures of marble, stone, and wood. It is designed in the same size as natural material flooring such as wood and tiles, enhancing its realism.
Additionally, it offers a total of 16 luxurious and diverse design patterns, including imported marble from Italy and North Africa, stones such as volcanic rock and concrete, and wood patterns that reinterpret classic European styles in a modern way, broadening the range of choices according to consumer preferences.
Sup Hyugaon comes in two thicknesses, 5mm (Sup Hyugaon 5.0) and 4.5mm (Sup Hyugaon 4.5), and uses a dual method applying both a high-strength transparent layer and a high-elastic cushion layer, providing excellent durability against dents and scratches, easy cleaning, and superior shock absorption and noise reduction effects.
In fact, tests conducted by the Korea Conformity Laboratories showed that Sup Hyugaon has about three times better shock absorption compared to the company’s 1.8mm thick PVC flooring.
Moreover, it has obtained the recommended product mark from the Korea Atopy Association and the highest grade of the eco-friendly HB mark. Tests by the Korea Testing & Research Institute confirmed that harmful phthalates and heavy metals were not detected.
Detailed colors and designs of Sup Hyugaon can be viewed at a glance through a sample book containing flooring samples. The sample book can be easily accessed online via the official KCC Glass flooring blog or by visiting a nearby KCC Glass flooring dealer.
A KCC Glass representative said, "Sup Hyugaon is flooring for consumers who want excellent walking comfort and noise reduction while not missing the luxurious interior atmosphere provided by natural material flooring," and added, "We recommend transforming your home into your own healing space with Sup Hyugaon."
