"Steadfast Sharing for Cherished Neighbors"
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 17th that it donated 300 million KRW to the Korean Red Cross. Due to COVID-19, the donation ceremony was held non-face-to-face.
This donation will be used to promote various humanitarian projects targeting medically vulnerable groups in difficult circumstances, domestic and overseas disaster victims, and North Korean defectors. KB Kookmin Bank has been donating to the Red Cross since 2007 to create a better world.
Meanwhile, KB Kookmin Bank, together with the Korean Red Cross, established 'Love Bread Sharing Centers' in Majang-dong, Seoul; Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province; Chuncheon, Gangwon Province; and Im-dong, Gwangju Metropolitan City. Last year, they practiced warm sharing by delivering freshly baked bread directly to vulnerable groups struggling due to social distancing.
