View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Changwon City, Gyeongnam Province, signed an investment agreement on the 16th at City Hall with three companies: Shinseong Delta Tech Co., Ltd., AN Tech Co., Ltd., and Agricultural Corporation Changwon Yangjo, with an investment amount of 35.7 billion KRW and new employment of 261 people.
Shinseong Delta Tech Co., Ltd. produces household appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, and vacuum cleaners, as well as electric vehicles for infants, luge carts, and electric kickboards.
To prepare for an increase in new orders, the company plans to invest 10 billion KRW by 2025 and hire 210 employees. In the future, it will diversify its business into the future automobile and IT sectors by expanding premium home appliances.
AN Tech Co., Ltd. is a company specializing in semiconductor coating line valve parts. It plans to invest 19.7 billion KRW by 2023 for expanding and relocating its business site to increase semiconductor equipment parts facilities, introduce new electric vehicle business, and establish new facilities for aircraft engine parts business. It also plans to directly hire 21 employees.
Agricultural Corporation Changwon Yangjo was newly established last year. It is an affiliated company of Malgeunnaeil, U-pyo-ui Achim, and Selbio Lab, which have a 75-year history in producing and selling three major products: alcoholic beverages, beverages, and health foods. It plans to invest 6 billion KRW and hire more than 30 new employees by 2024.
Mayor Heo Seong-mu said, "I deeply appreciate the three promising manufacturing companies for their new investments and new employment during the difficult situation caused by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). We will spare no support to ensure that the companies' investment progress proceeds smoothly."
