[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] SK Telecom has launched the wireless earset 'NUGU buds,' a dedicated device combining the T Phone and artificial intelligence (AI) service 'NUGU' called 'T Phone x NUGU.'
On the 15th, SK Telecom announced the release of 'NUGU buds' in collaboration with Dreamus Company's iRiver. 'NUGU buds' is a wireless earset that combines SK Telecom's AI technology with iRiver's sound expertise, providing various AI services linked with 'T Phone x NUGU.'
'NUGU buds' allows users to call 'T Phone x NUGU' and use SK Telecom's various AI services via voice commands simply by wearing the earset and touching it, without any separate smartphone operation. The AI services provided through 'NUGU buds' include ▲ T114 phone number search ▲ making calls ▲ sending text messages ▲ checking call and message logs, which are basic phone functions ▲ weather and news search ▲ media functions such as FLO and radio ▲ smart home control.
'NUGU buds' delivers clear call quality with SK Telecom's call sound quality optimization technology and dual microphones, and provides high-quality vivid sound by applying Qualcomm's cVc technology and iRiver Sound Master's sound tuning technology. Additionally, it supports Bluetooth 5.0 for wide coverage and excellent connectivity, and features a large-capacity battery that allows up to 19.5 hours of use.
The selling price of 'NUGU buds' is 79,000 KRW, and it is available for purchase through online and offline sales channels starting today.
