Seodaemun-gu Supports Sharing Activities for Sustainable Urban Development
'2021 Shared Promotion Project' Call for Proposals.. Support for Sharing Spaces, Items, Information, and Talents
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seodaemun-gu (Mayor Moon Seok-jin) is announcing the '2021 Sharing Promotion Project' to solve economic, welfare, cultural, environmental, and transportation issues through sharing activities in the private sector and to achieve sustainable urban development.
Nonprofit private organizations, nonprofit corporations, small and medium enterprises, social enterprises, preliminary social enterprises, cooperatives, etc. within the region that wish to share spaces, goods, information, talents, and experiences can apply, but the participants and beneficiaries of the sharing project must be residents of Seodaemun-gu.
Applicants can download the application form and project plan from the Seodaemun-gu website's public notice section, complete them, and submit by visiting the Planning and Budget Division on the 3rd floor of the district office, or by email (myjkye@sdm.go.kr) or mail by 6 p.m. on the 23rd of this month.
At the end of this month, the first document screening will be conducted, followed by the second presentation screening by the 'Seodaemun-gu Sharing Promotion Committee' in early next month to select the supported projects.
The evaluation criteria include the sharing promotion effect of the project (30%), validity of the project and budget operation plan (30%), project execution capability (20%), and regional specialization and sustainability (20%).
Seodaemun-gu has been conducting such contests and support annually since 2016 to spread the sharing culture within the local community.
This year, the total project budget is 15 million KRW, and a single entity can receive up to 8 million KRW. However, recipients must cover at least 10% of the supported amount as their own contribution.
Selected organizations will sign an agreement with Seodaemun-gu in March and carry out the targeted projects by November this year.
Last year, the district supported projects such as sharing sports equipment for everyday sports, holding sports classes through talent sharing, and sharing dark caf? spaces to improve awareness of visual impairment.
