Gangnam-gu Launches Comprehensive Situation Room and Emergency Duty System for Lunar New Year Holiday
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jeong Soon-gyun) is entering an emergency duty system for the Lunar New Year holiday, marking the third holiday since the spread of COVID-19.
To prevent the spread of infectious diseases, Gangnam-gu has specially organized 874 emergency duty personnel for four days from the start of the Lunar New Year holiday on the 11th to the 14th.
During the holiday period, the district will operate ▲ a 24-hour comprehensive situation room ▲ a special task force of 120 members for managing self-quarantined individuals ▲ four temporary screening clinics (9 AM to 1 PM) ▲ and conduct inspections of various multi-use facilities.
Additionally, the public health center screening clinics (9 AM to 6 PM) and epidemiological investigations will operate without holidays, and delivery of self-quarantine supplies and on-site inspections will also be conducted.
