Invention Promotion Association Gwangju Branch, Recruiting Beneficiary Companies for Intellectual Property Support
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] The Gwangju Intellectual Property Center of the Korea Invention Promotion Association Gwangju Branch announced on the 5th that it will recruit beneficiary companies for the SME IP (Intellectual Property) Direct Support Project starting from the 8th.
If selected as a beneficiary company, they can receive comprehensive support for commercialization, including solutions to intellectual property difficulties, at any time.
The application target is SMEs located in Gwangju Metropolitan City, and selected companies can receive support up to 20 million KRW per year.
Additionally, companies experiencing management difficulties due to COVID-19 are given priority benefits, such as additional points.
The main support contents for beneficiary companies include ▲patent maps ▲patent technology promotional videos ▲product and packaging design ▲new and renewed brands ▲PCT (overseas application), among others.
Regarding patent-related support, there is assistance in establishing R&D directions and patent utilization strategies through intellectual property trend research and analysis with patent maps, as well as support for producing 3D simulation videos of registered patented technologies owned by companies.
In the design and brand fields, support is provided for product (packaging) design development, new/renewed brands, and PCT application costs for overseas market entry.
