Mr. Lee Jae-hoon from Moksadong-myeon, Gokseong-gun, Gifts Warm Winter with Briquette Donation
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] Gokseong-gun (Governor Yoo Geun-gi) announced on the 4th that a resident donated briquettes worth a total of 1 million won the day before to support low-income and vulnerable groups.
The warm-hearted donor is Mr. Lee Jae-hoon, a resident of Moksadong-myeon.
Mr. Lee donated 1,250 briquettes to help residents who were struggling due to consecutive cold waves and heavy snowfall.
The briquettes were delivered to six low-income and vulnerable households by the staff of the Moksadong-myeon office.
The residents who received the briquettes showed bright smiles for the first time in a while.
Resident A said, "With these briquettes, I think we can spend the rest of the winter warmly," expressing joy.
Mr. Lee Jae-hoon, who personally practiced love for neighbors, said, "I am glad to be able to share some warmth with our neighbors during this difficult time due to COVID-19."
