Parking Fee Collection Hours Shortened from 8 PM to 6 PM at 22 Locations from 5th to 14th
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Gyeongju City, Gyeongbuk Province announced on the 4th that from the 5th to the 14th, it will shorten the parking fee collection hours at public parking lots and fully open some parking lots during the Lunar New Year holiday period.
During this period, parking fee collection hours at 22 public parking lots, including 17 on-street parking lots out of a total of 26 public parking lots in the region, will be shortened by 2 hours from the previous 8 PM to 6 PM. However, this excludes the city hall, Seonggeon-dong, the public parking lot next to the terminal, and Seongdong Market parking lots.
Additionally, from the 11th to the 14th, a 4-day Lunar New Year holiday period, parking fees will be completely waived and parking lots will be freely open at 25 public parking lots in the region. However, at Daereungwon (Hwangnam District) public parking lot, only the fee collection hours will be shortened during the waiver period. Also, Seongdong Market will be freely open for only 3 days except the 11th.
Furthermore, to revitalize traditional markets, temporary parking and stopping will be allowed on roads near traditional markets from the 5th to the 14th. The target markets are Seongdong Market (from the entrance of Seongdong Market to 100m in front of Lee Gap-don Dental Clinic) and Jungang Market (from Jungang Market intersection to 300m in front of Hyundai Motor Chungbu Branch).
