In the event of a diagnosis of cerebral hemorrhage or acute myocardial infarction, insurance benefits are paid monthly as nursing care expenses. For example, if a diagnosis of cerebral hemorrhage or acute myocardial infarction is confirmed after one year of insurance enrollment, the insured will receive 1 million KRW per month for five years (based on a main contract insurance amount of 10 million KRW). If the diagnosis occurs within one year of enrollment, only 50% of the insurance benefit is covered.
When subscribing to the cancer nursing care expense diagnosis rider, nursing care expenses of 1 million KRW per month for five years can be received for the three major critical illnesses.
The insurance pays diagnosis benefits for cerebrovascular diseases and ischemic heart diseases, which have high incidence rates, and also provides coverage for shingles, herpes zoster ophthalmicus, gout, specific rheumatoid arthritis, treatment costs for accidental fractures, and surgery fees.
'Jinsimeulpumeun Ganpyeonhan Ganbyeongbi Jjin Health Insurance' is a simplified underwriting product designed for customers who have difficulty enrolling through general underwriting, such as the elderly or those with pre-existing conditions, by streamlining the contract review process.
