"Exclusive Movie Releases Every Wednesday" Watcha Hosts Premiere Special Exhibition
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Online video streaming service Watcha is expanding its 'exclusive content' lineup by releasing exclusive movies following its exclusive series.
Watcha announced on the 3rd that it will hold the 'Watcha Premiere' special exhibition, showcasing movies directly imported by Watcha exclusively every Wednesday throughout February. The films featured in the special exhibition have never been officially released in Korea and cover a variety of genres including psychological suspense, fantasy, comedy, romance, thriller, and zombie films.
Since last year, Watcha has been releasing new exclusive content monthly under the name 'Watcha Exclusive.' It has garnered positive responses from users by presenting high-quality works such as 'Years & Years,' 'Why Women Kill,' 'Killing Eve Season 3,' and 'Hanzawa Naoki (2020).'
With the addition of movies premiering for the first time through the 'Watcha Premiere' special exhibition, a more diverse 'Watcha Exclusive' lineup is expected to be established. Accordingly, Watcha introduced the main works available through this special exhibition, including the movies released on the 3rd.
