[Today’s Weather] Nationwide Rain Forecast for Commute... Daytime Temperatures Above Freezing
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Eun-young] On Monday, the 1st, rain will fall nationwide amid mild weather.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the rain that began the previous night in the Seoul metropolitan area, northern Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungbuk, Jeolla, and Jeju Island will expand to most regions nationwide by dawn on the 1st.
Expected precipitation amounts are 5 to 30 mm in southern Jeonbuk, Gyeongnam, and Jeonnam, and around 5 mm in Seoul and other regions. Rain in the central region, Jeonbuk, and Gyeongbuk will stop by morning, but some areas along the southern coast may experience rain until evening.
Temperatures are expected to be mild across most regions nationwide due to the inflow of warm southwesterly winds.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted as follows: △Seoul 6°C △Chuncheon 1°C △Gangneung 6°C △Daejeon 6°C △Cheongju 5°C △Daegu 5°C △Gwangju 7°C △Jeonju 7°C △Busan 9°C △Jeju 11°C.
The daytime high temperatures are forecasted as follows: △Seoul 9°C △Chuncheon 9°C △Gangneung 14°C △Daejeon 13°C △Cheongju 12°C △Daegu 12°C △Gwangju 12°C △Jeonju 13°C △Busan 12°C △Jeju 13°C.
Fine dust levels will be 'bad' in the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongseo, and Chungcheong regions, while other areas will have 'moderate' levels. The Honam and Yeongnam regions are expected to temporarily reach 'bad' levels at night.

The Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "After the rain stops, temperatures will drop, causing drizzle and dense fog with visibility below 200 meters in some areas. Other regions are also expected to experience fog with visibility under 1 km, so special caution is required for pedestrian safety and traffic safety."
