Prime Minister Chung Sye-kyun stated at the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters meeting that day, "The third wave, which had momentarily slowed down, is threatening our daily lives once again," and added, "The government intends to maintain the current social distancing levels and quarantine standards for two more weeks until the end of the Lunar New Year holiday."
