Lotte Hotel Introduces Drive-Thru 'Seolnal Food'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Lotte Hotel announced on the 31st that it will offer drive-thru Lunar New Year foods for 'Home Seol-jok' spending the holiday at home due to COVID-19.
Lotte Hotel Seoul will hold the 'Seol Special Drive-Thru' from the 8th to the 14th of next month for one week. Compared to last year, 13 diverse menu items are available, allowing customers to freely choose and order according to their preferences. The 2-person set menu includes representative Seol dishes such as Tteok Mandu-guk (rice cake and dumpling soup), Galbijjim (braised short ribs), and luxury Jeon (shiitake mushroom, shrimp, beef jeon), along with lobster jeon.
Lotte Hotel World introduces the 'Delight Box,' a lunchbox-style set of holiday foods. The three-tiered lunchbox is packed with Galbijjim, Japchae (stir-fried glass noodles), abalone vinegar, three-color jeon, five-grain rice, steamed large shrimp, grilled croaker, and four kinds of seasoned vegetables. The Delight Box can be picked up after online pre-ordering until the 10th of next month. The price is 250,000 KRW per box, and a 10% discount is offered for online pre-orders.

A Lotte Hotel official said, "The 'Drive-Thru' product, first introduced in the hotel industry in March last year, has gained great popularity since its launch," adding, "We plan to continue offering various drive-thru menus to provide untact options that meet customer needs."
