Joo's representative, lawyer Yoo Jung-hwa, stated in a press release that day, "We have filed a lawsuit against an unknown woman who claims to be a reporter from 'Seoul's Voice' or 'News Free Zone.'
Lawyer Yoo said, "These pro-government media personnel have repeatedly committed illegal violent acts against the People Power Party under the pretext of reporting," adding, "We are determined to root them out and will respond strongly until the end." He also added, "We will also sue Democratic Party lawmakers Kim Yong-min and Lee Kyung, the head of public relations and communication, as well as prosecutor Jin Hye-won, who participated in spreading false information."
