Yeosu Gwangyang Port Corporation Selected as Safety Inspection Agency for Construction Work
Selected 12 Companies Including 8 General (Port and Architecture) and 4 Architecture Firms
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (President Cha Min-sik, hereinafter referred to as the Authority) announced on the 26th that it has selected and registered 12 companies to conduct construction safety inspections this year.
According to the revision of the 'Construction Technology Promotion Act,' the 12 institutions registered as specialized safety inspection agencies this time include 8 comprehensive (port and building) companies and 4 building companies.
The Authority plans to designate one institution per construction project through an evaluation of these companies' business performance capabilities and intends to apply and operate this starting from the currently underway 'Gwangyang Port 2nd Petrochemical Wharf Construction Project.'
The companies registered as safety inspection agencies this time are SQ Engineering Co., Ltd., Korea Construction Disaster Prevention Research Institute Co., Ltd., Haemyeong Engineering Co., Ltd., Miseung C&S Inspection Co., Ltd., Jeongsin E&C Co., Ltd., Korea Structural Safety Research Institute Co., Ltd., Korea Land Safety Research Institute Co., Ltd., Korea Construction Quality Research Institute Foundation, Infra Plus Co., Ltd., Korea Facility Safety Research Institute Co., Ltd., Daenong Structural Safety Research Institute Co., Ltd., and Sean Safety Diagnosis Co., Ltd.
