[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Hope Sharing People (Chairman Kim Jeong-an) visited the Seoul Metropolitan Government (Acting Mayor Seo Jeong-seop) on the 19th together with the Seoul Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Yoon Young-seok, hereinafter Seoul Love Fruit) and decided to donate a total of 180 million KRW over three years, 60 million KRW annually, for the Dream Narae Account project to provide educational funds for 100 children from low-income families.
The Dream Narae Account project supported by Hope Sharing People is a program aimed at expanding educational opportunities and reducing educational inequality gaps by supporting the accumulation of educational funds for children from low-income families in Seoul.
The beneficiaries are children under the age of 14 from low-income families residing in Seoul. Sponsors save 50,000 to 100,000 KRW monthly for three years and six months, and Seoul Metropolitan Government provides additional matching funds as a self-reliance scholarship.
Hope Sharing People is a public interest corporation operated through members' sponsorships, supporting scholarships and donations as part of a hope-sharing connection movement for low-income vulnerable groups in need of love and care, actively participating in discovering beneficiaries in the welfare blind spots of our society.
