Police Request Arrest Warrants for Two Chinese-Korean Nationals in Seoul Daerim-dong for Murder of Man and Woman
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] The police have requested an arrest warrant for a Chinese-Korean who killed two people in Daerim-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.
The Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul announced on the 23rd that they have applied for an arrest warrant for Mr. A, a Chinese-Korean in his 50s, on suspicion of murder.
Mr. A is accused of stabbing and killing two middle-aged men and women with a weapon in an alley in Daerim-dong at around 8:10 p.m. the previous day. Mr. A fled immediately after the crime but was caught in Guro-dong, Guro-gu. The two victims were found in cardiac arrest and were transported to the hospital while receiving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), but they died.
The police also believe that Mr. B, a Chinese-Korean in his 50s, was involved in the crime and have applied for an arrest warrant for him on suspicion of murder as well.
