Namwon-si Launches Full-Scale Support for Livestock Disaster Response Facilities and Equipment
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Namwon City, Jeonbuk Province announced on the 18th that it will actively promote the livestock disaster response support project to prevent farm management losses by improving the ability to respond to natural disasters such as livestock deaths caused by abnormal weather.
To this end, the city has secured a project budget of 400 million KRW and is supporting three items: ventilation fans (small and large), roof sprinklers, and cooling pads.
The support targets are livestock farms with livestock business permits or registrations. Ventilation fans and roof sprinklers are supported for all livestock types, while cooling pads are supported for pig and chicken farms.
Eligible farms can apply at the town or township office where their business is located by the 27th.
