Gangnam-gu Opens 'CU Saessak Store' to Support Vulnerable Groups' Self-Reliance
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jeong Soon-gyun) has opened the ‘CU Saessak Store’ to create jobs for vulnerable groups.
‘CU Saessak Store’ is a social contribution project aimed at providing jobs to basic livelihood security recipients. Gangnam-gu partnered with BGF Retail in November last year to start its operation.
Ten residents belonging to the Gangnam Regional Self-Support Center work in pairs of two as store owners, and they can receive incentives if they achieve daily sales targets.
