[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] On the 17th, five COVID-19 cases (Nos. 1070 to 1074) were confirmed in Gangnam-gu.
Cases 1070 and 1074 are family members of previously confirmed Gangnam-gu residents, case 1072 was infected through contact with a confirmed case from another region, case 1073 tested positive during a quarantine release test, and case 1071 was confirmed after showing coughing symptoms; however, the infection route is unknown and an epidemiological investigation is underway.
Gangnam-gu has proactively decided to extend the operation of four temporary screening clinics (near Exit 6 of Samsung Station, Gaepo Digital Innovation Park, Bangjuk Small Park in Segok-dong, and Apgujeong 428 Public Parking Lot) until February 14 to identify 'hidden infections.'
