Export-Import Bank Appoints Kwon Woo-seok as New Standing Director
[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] The Export-Import Bank of Korea announced on the 15th that Kwon Wooseok (權祐奭, 57), former Head of the Innovation Growth Finance Division, has been appointed as the new Standing Director. According to the Export-Import Bank Act, the Standing Director of the bank is appointed and dismissed by the Minister of Strategy and Finance upon the recommendation of the bank president.
Since joining the bank in 1990, the new director Kwon has held key positions within the bank, including Head of the Management Planning Division, Head of the Innovation Growth Finance Division, and Head of the Maritime Restructuring Division, making him an expert in planning, credit, and restructuring.
He has been recognized for demonstrating leadership that integrates and harmonizes internal bank operations, as well as for his excellent communication skills with employees.

Going forward, Director Kwon plans to focus on the bank’s operations by overseeing the General Cooperation and Business Division, Inter-Korean Cooperation Division, Risk Management Division, Digital Finance Team, Capital Market Team, and Evaluation Team.
