Boseong-gun, Recruiting Applicants for Marine and Fisheries Subsidy Projects
Decommissioning Fishing Vessels and Distribution of Energy-Saving Equipment: 22 Types Worth 4 Billion KRW
[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Cheon-seok] Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 14th that it will accept applications for marine and fisheries projects for 2021-2022 until the 10th of next month to promote income and convenience for fishermen.
The target projects include △Fishing vessel reduction projects, △Eco-friendly energy-saving equipment distribution projects, △Establishment of seafood production processing facilities, △Support projects for the distribution of eco-friendly buoys, totaling 22 types worth 4 billion KRW.
Applications can be made by fishermen, fishing villages, fisheries cooperatives, fishing corporations, and other fisheries-related organizations after consulting about support conditions, qualifications, and support details for each project at the town or township offices (Beolgyo, Deukryang, Hoecheon) or the Marine and Fisheries Department in the fishing activity area.
After receiving applications from applicants, the county will prioritize projects through the Boseong-gun Fisheries Adjustment Committee and finalize project recipients according to the budget allocation results from Jeollanam-do and central government ministries, and proceed with the projects in accordance with the "Regulations on the Management of National Subsidies" and relevant project guidelines.
