Kakao Shopping Live Surpasses 20 Million Cumulative Views
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] Kakao Commerce's live commerce platform 'Kakao Shopping Live' has surpassed 20 million cumulative views.
According to Kakao on the 14th, it has been about 50 days since Kakao Shopping Live surpassed 10 million views on November 20 last year. Considering that reaching 10 million views was an achievement attained six months after the beta service started in May last year, this represents a steep growth curve.
As of last month, Kakao Shopping Live's transaction volume increased 38 times compared to the beta service in May last year and doubled compared to the official launch in October last year. A Kakao Commerce official said, "Considering that Kakao Shopping Live conducts relatively few broadcasts, about one to two times a day, this growth trend is even more remarkable."
