According to Gwangju City on the 12th, as of 6 p.m. that day, one person who entered from Kazakhstan tested positive and was classified as Gwangju case number 1374.
The Gwangju 1374 case, a resident of Gwangsan-gu, was admitted immediately upon arrival to the 5·18 Education Center quarantine facility, underwent specimen testing, and was confirmed to have no additional movement history.
Among the total 1,374 confirmed cases in the Gwangju area, the number of imported cases has increased to 100.
There have been 5 confirmed cases among overseas entrants in the past two weeks.
