Jangseong-gun Promotes 'Return-to-Farming and Return-to-Village Settlement Support Project'
[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Yoo Doo-seok) announced on the 12th that it will promote a more strengthened settlement support project for return-to-farm and return-to-village migrants this year.
The county will carry out a total of 8 projects (53 locations) to support the stable settlement of returnees to farming.
The "Village-level Visiting Integration Education Support Project" is a program that supports education and operating expenses to help return-to-farm and return-to-village migrants integrate into the local community, expanding the project target from the existing 3 locations to 10 locations.
The "Warm Return-to-Farm and Return-to-Village Village Making Project" supports operating expenses when programs promoting harmony between returnees and local residents are operated.
The "New Farmer On-site Training Education," which supports new returnees to learn farming techniques at leading farms, provides training opportunities for up to 5 months and supports trainees with 800,000 KRW per month during the training period. Leading farms receive 400,000 KRW.
In addition, the county helps successful farming settlement through ▲returnee farming settlement support funds ▲returnee farm house repair cost support ▲salmon returnee settlement incentive ▲excellent start-up farmer cultivation ▲returnee start-up activation support, among others.
