'Jongno Sarang Women Nuri Group' Open Recruitment
Evaluation of District Priority Projects upon Appointment, Suggestions for District Administration, System Improvements, New Policy Proposals, and Reporting Resident Inconveniences... Targeting Women Residents of Jongno-gu with Interest in District Affairs and Expertise in Relevant Fields
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Jongno-gu (District Mayor Kim Young-jong) is publicly recruiting new members of the 'Jongno Love Women Nuri Group' until the 28th to implement citizen-centered open administration.
This recruitment aims to create a people-centered premium city, Jongno, by having women’s unique delicate and warm perspectives closely observe every corner of the area and contribute fresh ideas.
Upon appointment, members will participate in ▲evaluating Jongno-gu’s projects ▲making suggestions regarding district administration ▲proposing system improvements and new policies ▲reporting inconveniences in residents’ daily lives, thereby contributing to the development of district administration.
The number of recruits is up to 4, and qualifications include women residing in the district according to resident registration, who possess a strong spirit of volunteerism and responsibility, have a keen interest in district administration, or hold expertise based on major career experience.
Additionally, members must be able to sincerely participate in major project evaluations and subcommittee meetings and assessments (once a month).
Applicants can download the application form from the district office website or visit the local community center or the district office’s Audit Department to receive the form, then submit it online or in person.
When submitting documents, the application form must be accompanied by the consent form for the collection, use, and provision of personal information.
Selected Women Nuri Group members will receive benefits such as awards for outstanding members, invitations to various cultural events hosted by the district, and opportunities to participate in workshops.
For more detailed information regarding this public recruitment, inquiries can be made through the Audit Department.
Meanwhile, Jongno-gu also guarantees participation rights for youth and actively reflects their fresh opinions in district administration by organizing and operating the '2021 Youth District Evaluation Group,' which is planned to be recruited in March this year.
Last year, about 120 middle and high school students formed the evaluation group and proposed various ideas for district development, including improvements around schools and traffic safety.
They also reported residents’ inconveniences related to cleaning, advertisements, and public facilities, and monitored staff’s customer service attitude.
