Changwon City 'Jinhae Public Rental Knowledge Industry Center' Construction Design Competition
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] A public rental-type knowledge industry center will be built on the site of the former Army University in Jinhae-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongnam.
Changwon City announced on the 11th that it has started a design competition for the Jinhae public rental-type knowledge industry center, which is being developed as an 'Advanced Materials Demonstration Research Complex.'
The winning design will be announced on April 26, and the first-place winner will be granted the design rights.
Changwon City will invest 24.8 billion KRW, including 16 billion KRW of national funds, to build a building with one basement floor and six above-ground floors on a 9,600㎡ site next to the second Materials Research Institute site in the Yeoja District, equipped with corporate occupancy spaces, community facilities, and a convention hall.
The Jinhae public rental-type knowledge industry center offers rent at about half the price compared to private knowledge industry centers.
