OceanBridge Appoints Semiconductor Expert Seokgyu Lee, Former SK Hynix Executive, as President
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Oceanbridge announced on the 7th that it has recruited President Seokgyu Lee, formerly of SK Hynix.
Newly appointed President Seokgyu Lee earned his master's degree from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and both his bachelor's and doctoral degrees from Seoul National University. He has built his career exclusively at SK Hynix for over 30 years since 1986.
He developed unit processes and integration processes for DRAM capacitors. He also played a leading role in developing NAND process integration technology. Additionally, he served as a specialized professor at SKHU, SK Hynix's in-house university, contributing to the cultivation of semiconductor talent.
The company plans to accelerate growth by recruiting President Seokgyu Lee amid the overall semiconductor market boom. Oceanbridge expects to enhance its cooperation with SK Hynix while improving overall research and development performance.
