Sales of 'Study at Home' Items Like Partition Desks Increase...
WEMAKEPRICE "648% Increase in Desk Partitions for Vision Blocking, 173% Increase in Desk Partitions Sales"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Wemakeprice announced on the 6th that during the month of December, items that enhance the efficiency of 'studying at home (Jipgong),' such as partition desks and white noise machines, saw sales increase by up to 7 times (648%) compared to the same period last year.
Sales of 'partition desks,' which have partitions on both sides like a study room to block peripheral vision, increased by a staggering 648%. Sales of 'desk partitions,' which can be easily set up on regular desks to create barriers, also rose by 173%.
The number of people seeking 'white noise machines' increased by 243%. White noise machines are devices that play white noise sounds such as wind, rain, or stream sounds. This is interpreted as more people artificially creating white noise for psychological stability instead of the everyday noise occurring at home.
Sales of 'noise-canceling earphones,' which block external noise, also increased by up to 212%. The 'oxygen generator,' mainly used in study rooms to improve concentration, sold 139% more. Additionally, sales of desk chairs (99%) and reading lamps (36%) also increased.
