Professor Ryu Seong-gyeong of Dongseo University Appointed as the 35th President of the Korean Academy of Management Education
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Professor Ryu Seong-gyeong of the Department of Global Business Administration at Dongseo University (President Jang Je-guk) has been appointed as the 35th president of the Korean Academy of Management Education in 2021.
Professor Ryu was recently appointed as the next president at the regular general meeting of the Korean Academy of Management Education, and the term is one year.
The Korean Academy of Management Education, founded in 1986, is the largest academic research organization related to management education in Korea, with about 3,000 members.
Professor Ryu said, "During my term, I will do my best to enhance the status of the Korean Academy of Management Education and to promote communication and cooperation among members."

Professor Ryu has served as a senior researcher at Samsung Financial Research Institute, vice president of the Korean Society of Electronic Commerce, and president of the Korean Risk Management Society. He is currently serving as a director of the Korean Insurance Society, the Korean Pension Society, and the Korean Financial Consumer Society.
