Coupang's January Fashion Week Theme is 'Casual Look'... Up to 88% Discount
Sale of over 1,500 products including women's clothing, men's clothing, shoes, and infant and children's clothing until the 7th
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Coupang announced on the 4th that it will hold a "January Fashion Week" with the theme of casual looks to welcome the new year. Fashion Week is an event where Coupang selects a theme in the first week of every month to propose fashion trends and discounted products. Coupang chose casual looks as this month's Fashion Week theme, reflecting the fashion trends changed by the spread of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
According to Coupang, as telecommuting and remote classes have increased and outdoor activities have decreased, practical fashion items that can be comfortably worn at home and easily worn outside are gaining popularity. Lee Jun-seok, Coupang Retail Fashion Director, said, "Last year, many customers looked for comfortable casual looks such as sweatshirts, cardigans, fleece, and training wear," adding, "Accordingly, the New Year Fashion Week was planned as a discount event focusing on practical products and active casual looks."
